DESCRIPTION
The Shadow was a prominent music venue and bar located at 510 Westport Road in Kansas City's historic Westport entertainment district. Operating from 1989 to 1993 in a building previously known as London's, the club became a popular nightlife staple famous for its packed crowds and live alternative rock, punk, and metal performances.
